Meet Charlie the Wesite

Meet Charlie, He was our cherished Westie. He was part of our family for 10 years and was absolutely adored by all he met. Typically West Highland White Terrier, he was such fun and very loving, independent and very mischievous! Oh, and sometimes he barked ........ a lot! He was loyal and protective of all the family members especially our young daughter. Sadly Charlie went over the rainbow bridge in December 2017 after a few years of poor health and the family still miss him terribly. Charlie was the inspiration behind this site and can still be found modelling many of the coats, beds and accessories that you will find in our store. He was a fabulous model and we are delighted that this site will continue to be a tribute to him. We plan to bring a new Westie puppy into our family and the time now (January 2019) seems about right to do that. We'll be sure to introduce you and keep you updated about our adventures.

We've been lovers of Westie bits and bobs for years and that's how WestieGifts.com came about. We were looking for contemporary, tasteful accessories that captured the real spirit of the Westie that would blend into our modern home. At the time they were a struggle to find. We'd stumble upon the odd nice piece here and there but were often left disappointed with the quality and design of much of what we found. And so, our quest began! Since then we've grown and grown into the largest Westie Store anywhere in the world with many unique West Highland White Terrier themed products that you wont find anywhere else and certainly not on the high street.

Over the years we've spent hours and hours sourcing our extensive range of Westie Gifts for the home and for your cherished Westies. Some in the family would say it's become a bit of an obsession as we've been known to even scour gift shops on holidays for unusual Westie items and new ideas!

We've come a long way since we began. Our range of Westie-themed gifts has continued to grow, we've expanded our range for your dogs to include fabulous coats, luxury dog beds and expertly engraved pet Identification tags. Our following has grown and we now have many regular customers, what delights us most is that they are all around the world!

We remain a small family business who just love what we do. We are very lucky to live in a fabulous part of the UK and to work within view of the sea and the iconic St Michael's Mount in Cornwall which gives us inspiration and design ideas.

We normally dispatch most orders received before 1pm on the same day (Mon-Fri)

Personalised Gifts are normally dispatched in 1-5 working days (Mon-Fri) from order receipt. Some may take longer please read the product description for full details where we detail if particular personalised Westie Gifts will take longer to dispatch.

Dispatch times are intended as a guide and are not guaranteed, frequently items are dispatched in shorter times and on occasion some items, personalised items or large orders may take a little longer. Busy trading times such as Christmas, Father's Day, Valentines etc may also lead to longer than normal dispatch times.

Returns

 As a valued customer we want you to be happy with what you’ve ordered. If you’re not completely satisfied with the product(s) you’ve bought then simply return it to us at any time within 14 working days of receipt. This offer excludes personalised items. Personalised Items are non-returnable unless they are faulty or damaged because they have be made especially for you.

 Should you return an item because of an error on our part or if it’s defective, then we’ll refund the full value of the item and your costs in returning it to us.

 

Refunds

A full refund will be made for returned goods within 14 days on the condition that the goods are returned to us in their original presentation boxes, unused and returned to us in the same condition they were received.

Please obtain ‘Proof of Postage Certificate' from your post office as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost on return to us and will only issue a refund for the goods once they are in our possession..

Faulty Goods


In the unlikely event that your order is incorrectly shipped or found to be damaged or defective, should contact us normally within 2 working days of receipt to let us know about the problem and we will work with you to resolve it. We may ask you to email us a photograph of the damage or to return the items to us. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.

We may send you a replacement pair as soon as possible or issue you a full refund, including the original postage paid and postage of sending the items back (if a receipt is enclosed), on all ‘faulty’ or ‘incorrectly supplied’ items.

Order Confirmation:

You place your order by clicking on the submit order button at the end of the on-line order process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website.

Risk and Ownership:

All our prices include VAT at the current rate and by default, all prices are displayed in UK pounds sterling. 

You will pay the delivery charges by the method specified in your order for transport and packaging as quoted on the Westie Gifts  website on the date of acceptance of the order.

Welcome to Westie Gifts privacy policy. Everybody hates junk mail, we don't like receiving any and we certainly don't intend to send any either !

GDPR PROCEDURES
As from 25 May 2018 any changes in data recorded for customers, employees and suppliers in the EU must be recorded and those records retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any data held prior to 25 May 2018 has been recorded properly and held securely as can be seen by the Data Audit carried out.
Additional Customer Details.
As from 25 May 2018 if there is a new customer they must agree positively to our Privacy Policy before registering any of their data. This positive agreement must retained and filed so it can be referred to at any time.

Customer Requests
If a customer asks for the data we hold about them this must be given to them within 24 hours and a record kept that the information has been passed and what information was given. If a customer asks for their information to be deleted this must be confirmed in writing within 24 hours and a record kept of this. (When customer records are requested to be deleted and this customer has previously had transactions with us the accounting records must be retained for legal reasons and this information must be passed on to the customer) The customer records in the website and newsletter software must be deleted.

Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy must be updated at least on an annual basis. If matters arise prior to a review the Privacy Policy can be amended. If there any changes required these must also be made to the Privacy Policy on the website.
Breach of Data 
If there is a breach of the data held by Bell Gift Group, this must be first assessed as to whether it is a serious breach or not. If it is not a serious breach then actions must be taken to stop this breach in the future.
If the breach is a serious breach then the ICO must be told within 72 hours and any individual also informed within 72 hours. An action plan must then be made to minimise any breaches in the future
